The list of Athens‘ restaurants for 2023 of the Michelin Guide, the world’s most recognized guide in the field of gastronomy, was announced on Tuesday, October 17th.
The list did not include any twists and unpleasant surprises as all the Athenian restaurants that received one or more Michelin stars in 2022, retain them this year.

In the Bib Gourmand category we find five, while three restaurants hold the Michelin Green Star for their sustainable philosophy and zero waste kitchen operation. Also, fourteen other restaurants are recommended by the guide in the main selection category.
One Michelin star is awarded:
- Botrini’s
- Hytra
- Varoulko Seaside
- The Zillers
- Pelagos of the Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel
- CTC
- Spondi
- Soil
While new additions are the:
- Hervé
- Tudor Hall of King George
- Patio of The Margi
The only restaurant with two stars for Athens is Delta at the SNFCC, which has a Michelin Green Star, as does the only restaurant Soil, while Patio was awarded a green star in this year’s list.

The Bib Gourmand category consists of Nolan, Oikio, Cerdo Negro, while Jerár and Fine Mess were added to this category.
The main selection category includes Aleria, Aneton, Annie’s Fine Cooking, Athénée, Veri Table, Le Pavillon, Linou Soubasis and Sia, Merceri, Cookoovaya, Vezene, Sense, GB Roof Garden, Okio with new additions being Seeds and Simul.
