Paris has been named for the fourth consecutive year the best destination-city in the world in an annual study.
Once again, the French capital topped Euromonitor International’s Top 100 City Destinations Index.
This list ranks cities around the world based on six “key pillars” – economic and business performance, tourism performance, tourism infrastructure, tourism policy and attractiveness, health, safety and sustainability.
Greece has 4 cities on this list, Athens, Rhodes, Heraklion and Thessaloniki.
Madrid is in second place, Tokyo in third and Rome in fourth, with Milan completing the top five.
The rest of the top ten includes New York (sixth), Amsterdam (seventh), Sydney (eighth), Singapore (ninth) and Barcelona (tenth).
