On the occasion of World Oceans Day, celebrated annually on June 8 as a global initiative dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of marine ecosystems and humanity’s relationship with the sea, Nisos Restaurant hosted a special evening devoted to the contemporary maritime culture of the Mediterranean.
Set against the idyllic backdrop of Flisvos Marina, one of the most iconic destinations along the Athenian Riviera, guests enjoyed a carefully curated dining experience that brought together gastronomy and the rich maritime heritage of the Mediterranean.

Surrounded by the marina’s luxury yachts and the golden summer light fading over the Saronic Gulf, the evening unfolded as an authentic celebration of Mediterranean hospitality.
The menu, curated by Executive Chef Nikos Panagiotopoulos, showcased a contemporary interpretation of Greek seafood cuisine through premium ingredients, fresh fish and seafood, creative recipes, and thoughtfully selected wine pairings.

With more than twelve years of presence in the culinary scene, the restaurant has established itself as a benchmark destination for lovers of fine seafood dining, consistently combining genuine hospitality with a refined gastronomic experience.
The evening’s dinner embodied this philosophy, striking a natural balance between Mediterranean tradition and modern culinary creativity.

As daylight gradually faded over the Saronic Gulf and Flisvos Marina transitioned into its evening rhythm, the flavors, conversations, and atmosphere of the event reaffirmed a timeless truth long understood by Mediterranean people: the most beautiful stories are always written with the sea in view.
